Studying and working in Spain is possible

Share:

With the reform of the Alien Regulation comes a new novelty, and it is the possibility that all persons who apply for a Stay/Visit for Studies may also have a work permit of 30 hours per week that will authorize them to work for themselves and for others.

To enjoy this advantage, (work authorization) your studies must be:

  • Higher education, formal training for employment, or
  • Aimed at obtaining a certificate of professionalism, or
  • Training leading to technical aptitude certification or
  • Professional qualification required for the exercise of a specific occupation.

This visa/stay can be managed in two ways:

  1. From your country of legal residence, before the Spanish consulate, or
  2. In Spanish territory within the tourist period.
